Hey folks.
I work at a pawn shop,
and today we got in all these guitars someone left behind. I'm wondering if someone would / could help me with the values for a couple of them, and tell me if this strat might be an american one?
Ok..
First guitar: Gibson Firebird Celebrity : Black with White pickguard. 2 Mini Hums, made in 91..
Second Guitar: Gibson Firebird 76 No serial number. White, Ebony board, 3 mini Hums, Kahler Term made in the USA. 2 vol, 2 tone, like above,
Gold banjo tuners, etc,.
I looked online on the 2010 Vintage Guitar Magazine and it said the first guitar was worth between " Low = 1300 to High = 1600"
The 76 Firebird said " Low = 2750 and High 3400"
If you think these are un realistic, please let me know. I'd like to know what to ask and what to take..
I have a strat too that is Orange, and has 3 Seymour Duncans in an off white pickguard. Maple one piece neck, no skunk stripe, little headstock.
I didn't see anything that said made in the USA< but it says something
about syncronized trem contoured body? It's the 6 hole vintage type trem, and it's in a cool orange color. Off white pickguard. The serial number is on the bolt plate, and it starts with a V00###4 number. Does that mean anything? Rosewood board, medium frets I'd say or medium vintage maybe.. 21 frets..
One more.. Heritage: Made in Kalamazoo MI, Antique Violin like finish with pickguard that looks like wood also. I think the pickups are Duncans or ? Two hums, semi hollow like a gibson es335, but not a gibson of course. Two volumes, two hums, etc, etc,.. ? Any guess? I looked on ebay and saw that several had sold for around 1200 to 1700 but they were all different colors, etc,. This one has a Tom bridge and tail piece..
Anyway, I know there are some experts out there.. I'm needing prices before I put these up for sale. We are going to list them on Craigs list and I'll give you guys first shot at them if you're interested by letting you know where they are after I post them and after I get prices and get them priced of course!!!! Thanks so much..
