Mine....the Kiss Asylum tour.
I think King Kobra?? Opened for them......Freaking horrible!! :aww:
And I love Kiss!!

KC and the Sunshine Band. Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel. Stood right in front of the PA. My hearing was obliterated for 3 days. I was pissed that I wasted my precious eardrums on such a ridiculously horrendous show.

NIN forget the year but they played about 30 minutes and left. Said Trent was sick.

Pissed me off. I was stoked to see them too.

Worst sounding was Metallica on the AJFA tour. The show was good but it was one big wall of mush. So bad it was hard to tell what they were playing.

Jason

this took a lot of concentration. I got free tickets to Robert PLant solo thing at the Forum. My friend and I kept asking each other "didnt they already play this song?"

It's a toss up between Marilyn Manson and Metallica.
Actually no... The absolute worst gig I have ever witnessed.... Drum roll......

Bob Dylan.

Loverboy - Zebra opened and ruled, then Loverboy came on and put the whole venue to sleep. I couldn't wait for that concert to be over! I had a similar situation with Sade - that was free tickets and I think the biggest waste of time in my life.

my top let downs would be.

Slash's Snake pit...Slash and there singer was terrible!
Black Label Society- A wall of mushy sound. and Zakk needs to let go of Dimedag- RIP
Lady Gaga- a gift for my girlfriend...I felt like a homo by the end of the night! went home and listen to Slayer to get it out of my system

Probably CKY or Hedley (first time was good, second was horrible, mostly because of the sound and how disgusting Jacob acts on stage).

Van Halen with Spammy at the Staples Center '04

The sight of my one time hero, EVH drunken, drugged and broken down, rolling around on his back while horrendous feedback spewed from his horrible sounding amps during his "solo" will haunt me forever. He fucked up in EVERY song, hands falling off the guitar, stumbling around like a complete idiot. All during this hideous display, his moronic minions in the crowd are all around me drunkenly chanting his name in unison, like this is the greatest performance in the history of music. Disgusting...

I vowed that night need I'd never go see him play again and I've stuck to my guns, regardless of his seemingly better state since then...

Its surprising how bad they are... I don't know why. I do quite like some of their recordings.

Yeah...you know sometimes bands have off nights but in my experience with Metallica they've always sounded horrible live. That night was just the coup de grace.

KC & The sunshine band, not only did it suck,i'm your boogie man was already crusty when i
saw them, tube tops and floopy boobies were out in full force, think i was 10 or 11 at the time.

Whitesnake with Vai and Vandenburg on guitar. The sound was terrible out of the PA, all you could hear was kick drums and during solo's you could see fingers moving but couldn't hear anything they were playing. And they were skipping across the stage like a bunch of queers, licking their guitar necks, humping monitors, it was all soo fucking gay.

Second worse was Soundgarden in NYC, the sound was one of the worst I've heard at a live show. Cornell's voice was shot and the PA sounding like a wall of incoherant noise. I wanted to claw my eyes out with my balls.

I dont have many to choose from but I'd say Yngwies slot at the Denver G3 (the one on DVD). His tone sounded like a sonic ice-pick that consisted of one long harmonic minor arpeggio. Not to mention that the whole concert was delayed a hour and my car got towed-I also blame Yngwie for this. :gethim:

I love King Kobra....haha! Thrill of a Lifetime is a good album! Johnny Rod and Carmine! Rockin! hahaha  Kiss Asylum huh? Missed that tour. Very glam phase there, loved the album though. I did see Crazy Nights live, it was okay. Reason to Live was cool.

My worst concert was Aerosmith about 2 years ago. First time seeing them, and they sounded bad and played only 1 hour! Cmon...$75 tickets for one hour...

Oh, but I guess I got the bonus of HINDER!!! Thanks Aerosmith for that shitty opening band too!

metallica is the worst arena-sized band ive seen, i wasnt expecting much after listening to binge and purge and watching the live part of the year and a half of though.

they are one of my favorite bands on record, and although i never saw them live im not sure i want to because every video i have ever seen of them is unbelievably almost laughably horrible. same thing with a few other bands like smashing pumpkins, deftones... epic on record, trainwreck live
