Now we need a thread about the most loaded you have been at a concert ???

Overkill at some place in Middletown that's surely no longer there. The place had a step down in the middle of the pit area.... I was absolutely smashed, tripped backwards and just fell like a pancake. Opened my eyes, and a buddy I wasn't expecting to see there was like "dude, what are you doing on the ground?" :)

I don't remember much after that.

haha, call me what you will! But i went and seen Nickelback last summer and they ruled, but bc they talked sooooooooooooo soooooooooo much in between songs, it made it very Horrible. Debating on whether i'll pay to see them again!

Nickelback is the new Creed

I saw Aerosmith sometime in the early or mid 80's in Toronto... Can't recall off the top of my head, I was pretty young. There was this REAL long delay between the opening act and Aerosmith. Eventually, finally, they came out.... Steven Tyler tried coming on with all this bravado and was uttering useless nonsensical shit into the mic, Joe Perry threw his arm up to commence the "1st power chord of the night", and when he brought it down, he stumbled forward and wiped out on his face on top of his guitar and Steven Tyler took a ragged seat on the drum dais/platform, and, with his head in his hands, started to dry heave.

Stage lights went out... Intermission music came on. Arena lights turned back on. I left.

Not sure if they actually ever made it back out that night...

Probably tied for the "worst" concert and the "shortest" concert I'd ever witnessed.

Kiss in Cadot, WI Rockfest '06. Saw some pretty cool bands and performances. My friend gave the wife and I free VIP tix which was very cool. I've never been a big Kiss fan but I figured the live show would be entertaining. Well, I was wrong. The WORST pile of shit I've ever heard or seen. Terrible sound (which was surprising because the sound guys running most of the bands were excellent. Kiss must've had their own guy.)
The pyrotechnics they were using to make up for their lack of skill on their instruments(  sorry to the guys that like them) weren't timed with the music and was so loud that several people later complained of permanent hearing loss. (Seriously LOUD like a rifle going off next to my ears all night. Gave me a ripping migraine headache)

Paul Stanley was being the biggest pussy. Someone shined a laser on stage and he turned into a diva and got all axle rose on everybody. "I'll kick yo ass if I see u shining that laser again" :jerkit: :gay:
Just a terribly disappointing show. And to make it worse, when my wife and I got back to our campsites to try and nurse our pyro induced headaches, the couple in the campsite next to ours kept listening to the full Hinder cd over and over and over again literally for hours while they attempted to have drunken sex. If I ever hear that douche sing Lips of an Angel again, I'll kill someone.
But at least I had free beer the whole weekend as part of the VIP experience.

I grew up on the second wave of punk rock (black flag etc.) So any concert that isn't general admission. I can't don't like just standing in my seat and watching... I need to be up front and have the option to stage dive if I feel like it. So every stadium concert I go to is a let down of sorts.

Loverboy - Zebra opened and ruled, then Loverboy came on and put the whole venue to sleep. I couldn't wait for that concert to be over! I had a similar situation with Sade - that was free tickets and I think the biggest waste of time in my life.

This was the first show I ever saw live so I dont know if either band sucked. I was still a few years away from knowing the difference (like the other 99% of the population, I hadnt started to play or even have a clue.)

I've seen Zebra four times since then and always feel the need to promptly go home and burn all of my guitars after wards.

I walked out of Metallica on AJFA. To be fair though, I was there for Ryche on the Mindcrime tour.

I saw Poison at the Texas Jam in 87. I'd like to complain but the LSD was distracting me at the time.

I saw the Ryche - Hear In the Now show and thought it was excellent, unlike one of my friend up there. I guess that means either the sound guy has a lot of control over the overall experience or its just a different strokes kind of thing.
