How do they get away with building a Les Paul without getting sued by Gibson?

They look fantastic but I still don't see how they don't get sued by Gibson, just because they bought the old equipment?

@BRENTrocks these guitars look awesome; any thoughts on them on the ground level?

I don't love the rounded inlay or the Nashville bridges, but I guess Gibson USAs have those too and these Heritages are way cheaper than a Historic Gibson.

Different headstock shape....

That might be a saving grace

Used to be most Heritage LPs were heavy but in the past decade or so they have done a lot better than Gibson in that area. Prob for me is there is only one neck carve and as a giant human one size fits all doesn't work. F'ing Gibson makes us spend a premium for the fat necks but it's worth it IMO. Heritage makes damn good guitars tho def.

I know they are good guitars but i can never get past the non-bookmatch headstock.
If they;re charging Gibson prices then they should have that headstock.

I hate the hideous looking pickguards, but do like their guitars. Does the Gibson pickguards fit?

Heritage are building the best guitars now in the 40 year history of the company.

My 2025 H157 Custom Core is absolutely amazing.
