hey dave - effects chain Q

i know the GCX/ground control pro allows you to insert or remove whatever you want in and out of the signal chain as you please, but for me this is a last resort option because of the prices involved on top of the effects themselves and cabling.

so my question is, i've done research on making footswitchable effects pedals true bypass - like the boss CE-1/CE-5 etc.

pedals like the tc electronics cant be changed because of ADA conversion inside the pedal, but others i might use like the MXR 10 band EQ i could modify to be true bypass

any suggestions on if this is true and if it can be done? the gcx is the proper way to go i know, but thats a very very last resort. let me know on any info you can give me please

Yeah you can often do a trubypass to pedals but an other option is a trubypass strip. Like the ones made by loop master. Dave
