Hey FEK. How was the Mr Big Concert?

It was really good. Everyone sounded great and seemed to be having a great time playing.

I took some vids but the sound guy had the low end really pumping and it made the mic clip. I have a great vid of Pauls solo but I can't get it to load up to Youtube for some reason. The file is 527MB's so if there are any suggestions, I will try to get it posted for all to see.

Here is a link to a tune from photobucket. If this works, I can post some others if the clipping doesn't drive you crazy.

they're coming to Orlando on Saturday but I have no one to go with :(

it sucks having friends that have no common music interests :( :(

I went by myself. I haven't been in this city very long but have no problem hitting a good show on my own. It's worth it if you can go. Great tones, great vocals, and just a great show overall. Paul goes from a number of his new single coil Ibby's into his board and then straight to the Vintage Moderns.

That's cool. I've only seen Paul one other time - on MR. Big's first tour, and I've seen Billy with TALAS.

I know what you guys mean by "friends". I've been an engineering manager for about 12 years and I rarely - if ever - come across co-workers who are even remotely aware of the music I like...if I went to the show in Columbus, I would have gone by myself.

I just saw the show in Detroit Sat. night. Great for us but I felt bad for the band, only about 200-300 at the show. We had great table seats, (Harpo's is a dump) and the show was killer. Gilbert was awesome, I felt bad for the opening acts!

khoi: i was thinking of going saturday, but the weather is going to be VERY crappy. bad driving conditions aside, who knows if there will even be power?

khoi. With those guitars in your avatar, I'd say you HAVE to go.
