I have put up quite a few QUICKROD threads and am happy to let you guys know that I pulled the trigger on a fully loaded 2018 Quickrod about a month ago and just got word from Scott that my amp will be shipping out next week. Thanks you guys for answering all those questions I had because it really eased my mind about ordering an amp I have never even played. This will be my first custom built hot-rodded Marshall style amp and I couldn't be more exited. I will tell you another thing... Scott over at SPLAWN was such a cool guy to deal with. He patiently answered all my questions whether through email or on the phone. 1st class professional company. All I have to sweat about now is its being shipped from North Carolina all the way to California. Im trying not to think too much about that part I'll post up some pics once NAD happens. Cheers guys.

When I bought my Nitro back in 2010 I had nothing but top notch dealings over the phone and email with the guys at splawn. Some of the best customer service one could ask for.

Sadly I didn’t really jive with my nitro after a while , and it started having issues so I sold it off, but I still think it’s be cool to grab a quickrod again someday.

I bought a Quickrod nearly 10 years ago and it was a workhorse of an amp. The cleans were ok for what i did. I was a huge fan of Disciple (Brad Noah) tone and it's what he used. I bought it used from a guy that lived about 2 hours from me. Somehow UPS still managed to drop it and crack the headshell. The amp worked fine and since i had bought amps from Scott before, he built me a brand new custom head to match a cab i bought from him, he gave me a pretty decent discount. I used to talk to him every few months or so around then and also went to their 2007 Splawn amp fest. Good times.

You will be in good hands with Splawn.

What differences can you describe comparing the 2018 and an older model? I had a 2013 drob+.
