High Gain 20 Watt Soldano tone

Looking for tight high gain in a 20W head. Front-runners at this point:
Reeves Custom 18
Soldano Astroverb
Phaez Custom
Trinity Triwatt

Think I want a Soldano SLO, or hi-gain Hiwatt tone at manageable volumes, which based on my experience, would be about 20W. Looking for more krrangg than a hotrodded Marshall. Intrigued by what I read about the 6V6S tubes from JJ - though not many hi-gain 2x6v6 amps out there, or are there? (not overwhelmed by the Rebel 20)

The Astroverb won't get you SLO without some help. Nice little rock amp though. You might also consider the Randall RM20 with the closest module you can find.
