Great find for me !I love slayer

Saw them in ‘86, ‘88 and ‘91. In ‘91 they were third on the bill to Anthrax and Megadeth but Slayer should’ve headlined . They owned that show , Bay Area crowds have always loved Slayer

That’s awesome. You saw the real good old days . What a time

Oh I want that RIB just for nostalgia!

I have every song I'd want from it already though.

I have SOH, Decade, and a killer comp with a few off each, including Divine.

Accuracy isn't bad on most of these. Honestly any mistakes are not hard at all to sort out. Even the leads are very close to perfect.
I disagree with a bit of Spill The Blood, but it was easy to remedy.

If you had to only have one I would go with Decade.,,,,,but SOH is my favorite as a collectible. (favorite slayer album)
Would love to find a minty Show No Mercy!

On the Titans tour it was always the first of the big three that got the sound check for the night.
I got lucky in Tinley Park and Slayer was up first. AIC was really first, but they played through a bar rig lol, at the same time Slayer were doing checks and drowning them out.

I was at that show at the World Theatre! Saw it at Alpine Valley also. Poor Alice in Chains got thrown to the wolves on that tour. To their credit they didn’t gaf and rocked hard regardless.

When we arrived the venue still had Frank Sinatra up on the big sign in front. He must have played the night or weekend before.

Nice! I hope they arenot as bad as Metallica’s tab books lol
You aren't lying - the ...And Justice tab book makes me wonder if they weren't on PCP when they "transcribed" some of those songs. I remember reading years ago that the authors admitted they went for "ballpark" estimates on some parts - I remember getting the book and being all excited then sitting down with it thinking "WTF is this supposed to be??!!!"

Divine was IMO their last great album. It is clinically underrated. Paul was awesome on that too.
I think there’s some great songs on Diabolus and I dig it’s production but you’re pretty much right. I don’t own a Slayer record after Diabolus, unless Undisputed Attitude came after that. Even though Show No Mercy, Hell Awaits, Haunting the Chapel have classic songs on them they kind of had the Holy Triumvirate of albums like Metallica did. RIB, SOH and Seasons.

AIC opened here also . They went over good

Yeah they had to open every show but really made the most of it to get their brand out. Their only widely known song at the time was Man In A Box.

Slayer was amazing to say the least, and then Anthrax was great too. Even though I'm not a huge Anthrax fan I have to say they were spot-on and clear as a bell.

I had a hard time following many of Megadeth's songs even though I knew all of them by heart. Seemed like they were speeding -up some sections and then playing others at album speed. It was the only time I ever watched them live in person so maybe it was just their style at that time for live shows,,,,,,,,,or maybe it was the drugs. (mine and theirs both lol)

Especially blackened . It’s just a bunch xs and mutes for main riff lol . These slayer ones are better

They need to remaster SITA . It sounds like dog shit production. Has not aged as good as the others tone wise
