I actually prefer the 3+3 head stocks to the 6 in line, other then that, why the hell didn't he just go to Ibanez, of all 3 of the periphery guys it seems only Jake Bowen had the thought of, "Hey I like Ibanez, I'll get an Ibanez Sig.

I like that guitar. Wouldn't want it with all the periphery trimmings on it but I'm sure the guitar plays & sounds great.

I also think the Jake Bowen Ibanez is one of the nicest guitars Ibanez have done for ages. It's a shame it's a signature guitar.

The Bowen sig is cool, but notice how they haven't given him a 7 string sig. Jackson gave Misha both a six and a seven, and at multiple levels (fancy inlay vs not). The Jackson neck heel also is different from an Ibanez, and that's a big part of the guitar. Misha may prefer the Jackson's heel construction, and I doubt that's something Ibanez could be flexible about.

thanks man, been taking a break from all of this for a while. just been chilling, moved to Dallas & working. just living life at the moment. ;)

I thought the 3x3 headstock was limited to specific models?

One thing I never could understand is why in the world Jackson changed to that god awful headstock.

I would never own a Jackson with that. Idk why it bothers me so much.

I like it in it's original 3+3 non-reverse version on the SLS and KV2T. This reverse version always looks off to me compared to those two.
