President Trump invites the Japanese Prime Minister to the White House to discuss Iran and the US/JP relationship *_*
They agree that Iran must never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon and are on the side of America. The Prime Minister came to the US to say that she and Japan stands with America and they will do all they can to resolve the issue and help President Trump accomplish peace in the region and around the world.
Now that is a real ally in Japan unlike the Europeans and NATO.

Let's get one thing straight.
The US started a trade war with Europe and Australia. Recently he denigrated our (NATO's and Australia's) military contributions in support of the USA and spat on our solidier's graves. Then he went to war without consultation with his once allies.

And well it isn't like America doesn't help out Australia against China or the Europeans/NATO against Russia when we don't even need too.
Also it wouldn't be wise to announce to the world or to Iran "oh yeah we are going to bomb and decapitate the regime". An opportunity presented itself against a very real and imminent threat of an Iran with nuclear ambitions to take action and do the responsible thing and that is what President Trump did.
Given the US has been there for its allies unconditionally when they have needed America it's not a big ask to ask for a couple mine detecting ships and such or assistance in whatever way they can.
Not sure what the big deal is. President Trump is man enough to ask for help but if people dont want to help for the greater good he's not the type to let it bring him down and he will go it alone or with other allies such as Japan and Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi *_*

When did the US help Australia lately - we've had no military conflict with China except run ins over freedom of navigation exercises in the South China sea which the US doesn't get involved in other than their own run ins.
We helped in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq 1 & 2. Seems pretty one sided to me.
I can't remember NATO having a conflict with Russia that the US helped with.
There is Ukraine but they aren't in NATO. Trump has sucked up to Putin a lot like he's his bosom buddy, but Putin keeps making a fool out of him.
Still insulted our contributions (ungrateful and rude) and started a trade war. The reason for the trade war in our case was Irish. The US has a surplus with us so we should have started a trade war with you using Trump's logic...

Well if Australia doesn't want to help that is fine. I can respect that and maybe they don't feel it's in their interest and that is fine and well the US has other allies like Japan.

I really don't think you get it. Trump attacked us in Australia and Europe. Trump made his bed. He fucked up and made a mess going it alone. He should fix it himself.
We're literally going to run out of fuel here because of that dickhead. it's a real danger. We source our fuel from Asia - they are already saying they may have to prioritise their own markets.
With friends like the US who needs enemies.
