I don't have a lot of lefty friends but what seems apparent to me, at least on Rig-Talk, is that the left would love nothing more than military men and women coming home in body bags, aircraft getting shot down, gas prices going up, stock market going down, etc etc so they can say 'Trump bad'

I have a couple of inlaws and coworkers who are hard left. Another thing I've noticed is they thrive on negativity or negative attention. Right now their focus is on Trump. If it's not Trump ist's something else. Like everything could be going their way and they'd still find something to bitch about. Or if they can't find something to bitch about they'll create drama and negativity and try to drag people into it. Another trait that's prominent is they'd rather tear others down to feel better about themselves rather than trying to make their situation better. It's very similar to what we see from some of our resident attention whores here on RT.

Mostly due to the fact that President Obama was a Marxist and set the ball in motion.
Before Obama, the left and right had some common ground.
