Diezel VH4 Blueface (bought back in January of this year)
Was jamming with my brother. He was playing my Les Paul through my VH4, I was playing drums. We switched and I played a couple chunky riffs and then I noticed that my crunch and low end were gone. Looked in at the tubes inside my amp, but didn't observe anything too different. Waited a few minutes and then I noticed that tube 1 and tube 2 were red plating. We put a couple different EL34s in place of tubes 1 and 2, but nothing changed. I measured the current of the tubes. They should be reading 30-35mA each, but ALL of the tubes are reading 167ma each. What is going on/what do we think died? I know I have a 5-year warranty, but I am also an Analysis Tech finishing my BS in Electronics Engineering, so it is not beyond my own reach to fix this with the right direction from the right people. Any help would be appreciated.
