Talk about GAS yesterday I dreamn't that I owned an SLO, I woke up in a bad humor as I realized I don't LOL....

The Space Box is a reverb unit with dwell, tone, and mix controls. It's not as lush as the Surf Box but it sounds very nice and has wicked graphic.

I have spoken to Dave Friedman about modding one of my SLOs to an EL34, and a little preamp tweaking. I have also spoken with him about modding one of my X99s. It is more to have a different slant on these than trying to "improve" anything. Since I have more than one, why not? It is not that anything needs to be done to the Soldanos, it's more that having a different slant on something I already love gives me more tonal options. Just like changing tubes.![]()
