The key to life is about life, not money.
Invest in life.

Quoting a multi-millionaire about life and money. Reminds me of people who aren't wealthy when they talk about wealthy people.

It's easy to talk about other things once you're wealthy enough that your basic needs, and even more, are covered, and you don't really worry about having enough money to live your life and take care of your family.

___

"Reminds me of people who aren't wealthy when they talk about wealthy people." - more on this...wealth provides opportunity; the more wealth the more opportunities you have. If you don't have sufficient wealth, you have no idea what's available. If you have a net worth of $1M, you have opportunities that people with a net worth of $100K don't know; same for people who have a net worth of $5M; or more.

So many people who live paycheck to paycheck fall for the dream sold by marketing and advertising, they try to buy that dream instead of earning it, and they end up in debt spiral they may never escape.

“If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!” ― Benjamin Franklin

"The Constitution only guarantees the American people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself." - Benjamin Franklin

yes, but when you quote a multi-millionaire about life and money, you will get a lecture based on their experience as multi-millionaires, which is irrelevant to those who aren't multi-millionaires too.

it's like reading Marx on capitalism, when he was nothing more than a bitter, angry failed capitalist blaming capitalism for his failures becoming a successful capitalist. What's even sadder and funnier in a pathetic way, are all the useless idiots that promote Marxism like it was created by some genius, not a bitter man who failed to be a successful capitalist. It's like taking guitar lessons from a drummer, or vice versa.

You realize how ironic it is that Lennon was singing Imagine while him and Yoko were making tens of millions of Holsteins ?

At any rate trying to prove the point that money is immoral and immaterial by using a guy who beat both his wives and abandoned his son seems, well, misguided.

John was killed by a random person w/a gun thats the irony of his statement.
Maybe you forgot that part.

And think about the life you would have if you didn’t have money. I came close enough to see it clearly; close to starving, i screwed a fat ugly girl who made me hotdogs in return....that's life

No I didn’t forget. I’m pretty sure I’ve thought about it a lot more than you over the years. By the way, that guy isn’t in jail anymore. Did you know that ?

Holding Lennon up as a role model for anything is misguided.
It may be an unpopular opinion but i never liked Lennon and the more he got into US politics, the less i cared for him.
It’s a fact that without McCartney to balance out his song writing, most of his music would have been insufferable.

I think his post-Beatles always comes to mind for me, publicity seeking millionaire. If i thought about it i could come up with some likeable tunes and always appreciated "Imagine" but overall, not on my A list.
And edited my post to "most of his music", not all.

Paul definitely smokes him in the post Beatles output. I can think of maybe 3 good Lennon songs post Beatles. Mother, I'm Losing You, Jealous Guy.

Yeah, there was no doubt (in my mind) who the backbone of the Beatles was after they split.

The market volatility is challenging, though this past week I was able to "sell high, and buy low". Wish I'd sold more.
