This quarantine is turning me into a cave dwelling geek musician, tapping into a bunch of bulls**t. LOL!

I think we did this years ago either here or on HC, but curious how some people came up with their forum names (Dickbutternuts you are exempt from this exercise) :D

Back in the 90s, I was a gamer and would get together with friends from work playing Call of Duty and all of these other shooting games. Anyway long story short, my Air Force supervisor was in the game sniping people from this "hidden" location and was pissing everyone off. He was being really cocky about it, typing crap like "You'll never figure out my location" and a bunch of other crap.

I see where his character is and in the game sneak up, laying prone right behind him. So I type "Hey Pete...", and he goes "yeah?....." real cocky-like, and I said "Goodbye" and shank him. Then I typed "Ahh, just like cutting into one of Mom's warm apple pies...." and everyone in the game lost it. My boss says "Dude, you are like the Romanian Reaper!!" and it just stuck. So I just brought it into the Harmony Central and RT forums.

BTW, as he tried to keep entering the game we kept slaughtering Pete to the point where he yelled some obscenities and left the game. We gave him crap the entire next day at work. LOL

I’ve been doing postal service since 91. In the military 8 years (5 years were security) been a post master 3 over seas post offices. Got out. Got into USPS. Born 1971.
That’s the end of my mystery.

First board I really posted on was a Georgia Tech board nearly20 years ago in the early 2000’s. I combined my love of the GT Yellow Jackets and guitars with a play on being in a straight jacket. So StratJacket was born...

I used to watch really bad movies with friends in high school similar to Mystery Science Theater 3000 where we would riff on them. One of the movies was “Abraxas: Guardian of the Universe” starring Jesse Ventura.

A few years later I used Abraxas as a gamer tag but could not use it on many music forums as I found out there was some Santana album with the same name and his fan took it already. I changed the spelling a bit and there you have it.

Mine is because I was the test idiot for making new jumps for quads (Dirtbikes). My friends would build and shape them with heavy machinery and I would test them. They called me psycho. Dave is my name.

The first board I posted on after getting into guitars was the Ernie Ball Music Man forum, when I started my obsession with Petrucci’s guitars and gear. I wanted to buy a MusicMan JP(6), but figured MMJP would either be taken or too cheesy. I swapped the letters around, and voilá. I had to add a 1 to it in a few other forums because JMMP was already registered.

The first band I was in that wrote original material. Founded in 85. When Pantera was Glamtera. Demos recorded at Pantego Sound with Vince Abbott behind the board and both Darrell and Vince bagging on us the whole time saying "That heavy thrash shit will never sell." Walter was such a badass rhythm guitar player I soon quit playing bass and switched to guitar. Walt is still my biggest influence to this day.

I used to be a beer brewer (hence my location) and in brewery mill rooms there are always spiders/spider webs (they seek the bugs present in all whole grains). We would just use a shop vac to vacuum all the malt dust/webs/spiders. One day while emptying said shop vac I thought; "Man, it's like spider wars in there". Then I later named a beer (session IPA) Spiderwars. Why I chose it here I have no idea. One could watch Jeff Watson do his 2-handed stuff and a little imagination...Spider wars?

I had a big collection of Marshall’s. My name is Mel. I’m lame.
