I'm seriously considering picking up this E-LP-98LTC but I wanted some opinions on the price. It would end up being around $700 including shipping to Toronto. Is it too high?

That looks like 92CD with pu covers & pickguard removed. Used & with a blemish I think you are not getting a good deal at all for that model.

The models with nitro finish sound distinctively different from poly finished ones. If you want an old LP vibe those with nitro are the ones to get, otherwise they are both great guitars & poly kinda looks better I think.
