How to get Adam Jones (tool) guitar tone onMesa Rectifier?

I have: mesa dual rectifier(clone), (clone clone centaur pedal) and v30 cab.
Which eq settings i should use to get closer to his tone? (I know he uses 3 amp blend , but i don't have this)

I don’t think anyone will be familiar with that amp so best advice is to:
experiment a lot
don’t be afraid of extreme settings
sometimes all the way down/up is best, or worst
often less gain is better
learn how Adam plays, he has a characteristic attack to the notes

IMO, the core to his best tones is that old Marshall.

Boosting that recto is going to get you closest. Klone isn’t really ideal IMO, an 808 would work better but we can make the klone work.

Set the amp up for red modern, gain at noon, treble at 1-2 o’clock, mids around 12 oclock, bass at about 9-10 oclock, presence at 9 oclock. Bold, diodes.

Turn the gain off on the klone, tone knob in the noon range, and use the output to get your gain…anywhere from 2 oclock to fully dimed.

You’ll have to play with fine tuning these settings for your gear but I’d start there.

If 80% of tone was in the speaker then we’d all sound scary close to VH, and we don’t so…

Thanks bro. I also have clone of presicion drive... But i think centaur have more high-mid aggressive , and cooler than TS-style pedals IMO

Is that rectifier clone something you built? I ask because you come on this forum and ask about schematics and building clones of Uberschalls and Nitros and such.

This was given to me by Glen Fricker.

Adams's settings.

Orange

Silicon

Bold

Bypass effects loop.

Gain -11-1

Treble - 3+

Midrange - Full up

Bass - 1-2+

Presence - 1-3

+ = a little more

The "bypass effects loop" on back is important for the sound.

I sold rectifier to my "friend" (because i want have preamp and poweramp separately)
But he hasn't bought a cab yet , that's why I still have the rectifier
