How uncommon is this tuning? E – B – E – A – C♯ – F♯

So i have been doing some experimenting with tunings, and I thought since most alternative tunings are dropped down, what about tuning the strings up instead.
With this tuning it plays like a drop E, but the rest of the 5 strings are tuned up a whole step. The ernie ball zippy slinky works well with this tuning, and i thought the tuning sounds beautiful, especially when riffs have open strings. I'm used to playing drop D all the time, and found this one refreshing, it sounds more uplifting than drop D.

I couldn't find any name online for this tuning. I know people use capo for this kind of stuff, but i feel like i have more freedom without it imo. Any band that has used this tuning?

Or you could just use a capo. 😁
The bigger concern would probably be the string tension and/or tension on the neck. But if you found strings with the right gauge where they won't snap then no reason not to tune up a step if it works for you.

I’ve done a few videos with a tuning in Drop D# tuning, but the tradeoff is that you are likely to snap the high E string or others when you bend a note because it is way too much tension.

Can’t remember. D’Addarios and Elixir strings are what I default to, usually 0.10s but I have gone with 0.11s and 0.12s sometimes.
Alright. I have been using the "drop e" tuning for 2 weeks now, and still no strings snapped. It has a 07
