^ What is that red Gibson on the right, never seen one like that before?

It's a 65 Melody Maker. I cut a new pickguard for it and put in a Duncan Hot rails. I still have the original pickguard and pickup so I can restore it to original.

Nice! Of course I like the one in the middle, but that strat on the right looks bitchin!

Thanks! The one on the right is a mid-90's Korean Squier. My first electric.

Awesome, hold on that guitar. Its cool like the Gibson L6S which came later is cool. You don't see them everyday. :)

Dust is from construction....I took this right after finishing hanging all the slats on the wall.

It's only 'special' to me for no other reason than nostalgia...the music store I worked at during Whitesnake's hey-day carried them, and I couldn't afford it at the time...I don't think they're particularly "great"guitars, but they were certainly damn good. They had really fast ebony necks, a cool body shape, etc.

Well, here's some of the Ibanez clan. I haven't yet figured out how to go about getting 45 guitars into one photo... Some of these have rotated out but the best pieces are still around. The 350MDX is gone, as is the ARX, RG 20th DY (non-customized), and the blue quilt RG4. The weird appearance on the pick guard of the stock 20th DY is the plastic still on the pick guard.

The prize pieces here are the original 1988 JEM77FP, the RG565EG, and the two original RG770s: RG770DXVM and RG770DXLB. Also have a full set of the RG550 20th (one in each color). They all play so phenomenally well it's silly...

So how DOES one photograph 45 guitars? Rent time on the wall at GC or a local music store?

That or an 80's metal themed ad for Pepto Bismol :D

For me, the guitar means a lot cuz Adrian Vandenberg was my first guitar hero. He made them look so cool on MTV with Whitesnake (though little did I know at the time he only played one solo on the 1987 album) plus I got big into his old band Vandenberg.

Like Bronco said, it's not a holy grail guitar or anything, but they are really good. Unique during the time with the 'violin-cuts' in the body, very playable natural finish neck, plus the pickups were more medium output allowing the guitar to play more than just metal. Very Stratty tones in the neck pickup and classic rock crunch from the humbucker. I'm more likely to play it today vs. my Charvel Model 5 which can pretty much only do metal.
