I’d say get the KT150 though! KT88s are crushing in this amp.

I'm usually a EL34 or 6L6 guy myself. Not really been a fan of the other power tubes I have tried.

You know, before I got my wizard, I was a pretty big fan of 6l6 and kt88. I loved the darker gain profile and fucking smooooth amps. Then I plugged into this rude bitch and you can't pry these el34s out of my hand.

I had a MTL Mk2 EL34 but for me I prefer the 6L6 for whatever reason. You can't go wrong with either version of tube in Rick's amps as they'll all sound fantastic.
