There's a video of Tyler Larsen playing an aluminum neck

Brent hinds used to play an egc v with an aluminum neck. First it had a vibrola, but converted to hardtail due to tuning stability issues. I believe he stopped touring with it due to continued tuning issues and a fall out with the brand...

Ken andrews from failure had an egc jazzmaster with aluminum neck and I think stopped using it as well.

Buzzo is the only one I can think of still using an egc.

I picked this up last weekend. I haven't even plugged it in yet. It's a pretty killer build, even though I'm not actually sure what the body itself is. It's got a Bareknuckle Aftermath in it. The neck is HEAVY. The body doesn't even have strap buttons installed, so I can't really give it a good spin, but I'm going to try and plug this in tomorrow.

The paint finish on the body is cool too. That would be a crazy neat guitar to be able to snag. Nice find!

It's absolutely gonna have neck dive once I get strap buttons installed. Almost worth it to spend the extra $$$ and get the aluminum body too lol. Maybe I should get a performance stand.

Just thought of something. That neck might require Al safe cleaners / products or you might end up with a mess.

You mean the fingerboard itself?
Or just overall?
That’s a good question and thought.
