Well I sold the Splawn as you all know.... needed cash for some stuff coming up, anyways I ended up swapping it for one of the New Charvels and cash. The cash settled the money issues I had. I also had a Mesa 2:90 for sale, swapped it for an old Rare Randall RG200ES (minty).

Not sure about the Charvel, it should be here this week sometime, but I'm SUPER picky about my guitars, Gutierrez has spoiled me, and I still have yet to play anything I like as much. So, If I dont care for the charvel expect a Spam thread on it, and I'm looking at the Randall MTS gear yet again.... 4th time is a charm?

Sad thing is, 6 months ago, I had an RG200ES, RG100ES, a Lynchbox and a rack full of Randall gear. DeJa Vu.

o.k. just had to share.... I'm a pathetic whore. I should just learn to stay off these God forsaken forums and stick with my Randalls.

Dunno if the MTS is for you if it's 4th time around...I thought I was sick buying and selling 3 times ;)

If you need Randall tho' kdog42000 or whatever his nick is, always has a ton of this gear for some reason....latest one is on eBay..KH head with 5 modules.

I always seem to go back to it, BECAUSE I like it, But like I've stated before I LIKE flipping amps, and with the Splawn, I wanted to keep it, but needed cash and could find a buyer for the 2:90.... Basically came down to, my daughter birthday and winter coat, or keep the Splawn.

Back to "basics", and for the basics are the MTS, and a SS Randall. easily 2 of my favorite amps.

Its either be a gear junkie or go to a shrink. I think you have made the wise choice, Hang in there Juggernaut, some day you will find the bliss of finally being GAS free. It will cost you more money than you can even imagine but in the end it will be worth it. In the mean time enjoy the ride. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Is anyone here gas-free? I can't even comprehend it. Please, help me understand! - Jim

I am more or less GAS free. I have a real nice pedalboard setup with tons of overdrives and other stuff to play with, a tube reverb, and a nice old vintage 20 watt amp from 50 years ago. Lots of guitars in the rack both acoustic and electric. GAS free mostly. The Wife will buy me a new guitar for Christmas if we have the cash so that keeps me entertained for the most part. No interest in digital or giant 100 watt amps so I am free from that major GAS hassle. Meh pretty GAS free. Now I just need to play better but thats another story. I went through about 2 years of buying and selling pedals until I got my board the way I wanted it and currently have HBE Power Screamer, HBE CPR, Boss EQ-7, Frantone Peach Fuzz, Mojo Vibe, Keeley TS-9 Mod Plue, Keeley BD2, Menatone Red Snapper, Menatone Blue Collar, Menatone VOS, BBE Sonic Stomp, Deluxe Mem Man, Peterson Tuner, Dunlop Tremelo, tube reverb to amp. Oh thanks now I have GAS from typing that list of effects.   :gethim: :gethim:

Bill, I salute your gas freeness! You are a rare individual. - Jim P.S. thats the longest list of pedals I've ever seen!
