Amp i am borrowing is a Crate B-20, these were made from 1986-1989 apparently. Bigger and heavier than what i was thinking for a practice amp but it is made in USA and should fit the bill nicely.
Enjoy!

Bass can be fun, depending on the band/music, you often have much more freedom to do different things unlike rhythm guitar or even lead guitar

It's starting to sound like you need to migrate to the dark side and get yourself a proper bass rig. LOL.

I know, but it's good enough for what i need. Maybe someday. If i get good at playing bass i'll probably do just that.
But for right now i'm just messing around, it's more of an experiment than anything.

I just played it through the Crate B-20. If i turn all the treble controls all the way down, and raise the gain quite a bit, i can get some decent tone out of it. Good enough! I might still rewire it due to the tone knob not doing much but this is a good enough setup for me.
