First of all, that was not me you spoke to on the phone. That is a cyborg who handles all incoming calls from the mid-west. I do not take any phone calls from mid-western area codes because as many of you know I lived there from when I was 14-18 years of age and I have this recurring dream of old girlfriends calling me because their husbands can no longer afford to feed them.

Also as many of you know, our Mr. donbarzini is very particular and discriminating about certain things besides youtube video links. Our boy here is very particular about the grain on the neck and in particular the fretboard. So I actually pulled all three fiesta reds I had out of the boxes and played all three of them. Two of them were very good sounding. One was average. So I videotaped all three guitars for db and then videotaped up and down their fretboards and told him he wanted guitar #1 or guitar #3 from a tone standpoint but that guitar #3 had a more consistently dark rosewood fretboard which is what he prefers. Guitar #1 had much more in the way of light colored rosewood mixed with darker rosewood..... kinda like Brazilian rosewood has. He picked guitar #3 because of the video I emailed him.

But yeah, there was a phone call in there somewhere too. What an incredibly husky and manly voice our db has!
