I bought another Mark amp. I think I have a problem..

Mailman, didn't you get yours modded to a III+? I regretted not doing that on my last blue stripe but it seems I have another opportunity now.

Or, I just flip all my non-IIs and get another II. Which would be legit.

Yeah..... had a green stripe modded by Mike B to the ++. It was crushing.
But I had a Modded Recto that pretty much covered that tone. So sold it to a good bud of mine in my inner circle of gear whores.

I have the same tendency, so I forced myself to skip all the earlier marks and just get a MkV and ignore everything else. Yea, I know I'm missing some tones, but the 9 modes of the MkV are killer and I just pretend there's not another alphabet full of Mark options out there. Otherwise, I'd end up owning at least one of EVERY friggin one of them, and that would be a problem.

I have a Blue stripe modded to III+. Killer tone. Smoothed out the lead channel yet it’s still really tight and fast. I’ve never played a IIC+ but the III+ is esialy one if my favorite lead tones out of all the Bogner, Friedman, Diezel, Marshalls etc... that I’ve owned.

We suffer from the same condition...how many do you have now? I find something I like and I must have multiples of it, amps, guitars, motorcycles... its some weird type of hording trait, yet its not hording in the classic sense. Enjoy the amp(s)!
