The quality of your posting has dropped off considerably since TGP.

It's almost like you're not the same person.

It was hit or miss toward the end man. I posted nothing but “bananas” for like 2 weeks until the opportunity presented itself for me to post “orange you glad I didn’t post bananas” and no one even got the joke.
Such a waste of time
I got time to waste.

Finished the power entry module upgrade on my JCM800.. added a passive loop.

About to finish the "Snorkler" preamp and thinking about starting a Langner DCP-1 preamp build.

I found a bunch of sketches I made of preamps I wanted to try and build. Most of them were just scribbles from my old work desk but a couple of them look like they are worth finishing. I just don’t have much time to build anything. I can barely stay away later than the kids do lately.
I might take a week off the end of this month to actually make something

I flat out can't do it any more. Between bad eyesight and unsteady hands I'm limited to larger non-PCB stuff.

Changing out the opto-switches in a Boogie pre-amp last year was it for me.
Ending up screwing up a board trace cause I couldn't hold the iron tip steady enough.

I flat out will not fuck with PCB stuff.

Turret board or GTFO.

Last place I worked at there was this one younger guy who (using those
visor glasses) could replace bad surface mount stuff, including large chips.
