After making some test with some speakers I have to say that I prefer the Celestion V30.

I tried G12H, Greenbacks and V30. :gethim:

I'm hoping to have my Marshall in about two weeks so I can send it out to Dave.

H30 X V30 in a 4X12 is where it's at!

My cabinets have mixed together 2 V30 and 2 G12H30.

I tried to change them and to separate and the result only with V30 is better for me.

It's good ya found what you like!!!
For me, this mix gives some modern vibe with woody tone/feel with the amp.

Dave dials these amps in using a Scumback loaded 4x12. That's where the tone is at. Check em out.

I will.. I have been looking for those speakers and soon I will order 4 units to load one of my cabinets.

I like the Marsha logo being in the middle!
I'm sure somewhere on the Interweb somebody will argue that moving the logo to the middle affects the tone.

Congrats on the amp.

Congrats on the amp.
Actually it does. You see, the metal logo being in the middle of the head shell heats up from the two middle power tubes, which in turn causes the tubes to run hotter resulting in a more kick ass and super hot "brown" sound. ;)
