I’m not convinced a large part of the country doesn’t realize it. I think most people just think it’s better than either of the proposed democratic candidates.

That and people; especially the media, doesn't understand he puts on the "Trump persona" when he's in front the camera. At least to me it's relatively clear when he's just saying shit to antagonize his detractors and when he's being serious/truthful.
