Not in Europe. Actually i think the Diezel is more bang for the buck. If you like the Bang. If you don't, it's still more Bang for the Buck.
Swabian Calculation goes like this:
Used 2203x: 850.-€ (I got it cheap)
Mod: 650.-€ + 100€ "shipping" (I had to send it twice, because of DHL. It was also my fault. The Case wasn't packed in Carton. Then i went and picked it up myself, when it was finished)
New 2203x 1690.- = 2440.-€
New Lenz Octane: 3800.-€
New Diezel VH4: 2910.-€
My modded Marshall: 1600.-€
If i don't buy the Diezel i save 2910.-€
But i don't know how longe the price will stay like this.
I haven't cancelled the VH4 order yet, but we will see.
I like my modded Marshall.
It really opens up between 2.5 and 3 on the Master Volume.
i see, good deal(s)!
used JCM800 is like 1000€ and a diezel VH4 more like 3200€ new (1800 - 2200 used), normally.
2.5 to 3: like in 0 to 10 or 2:30 to 3:00???
edit: must be the first one, because over 6 or 13:00 the poweramp starts to distort
