Agreed, I do like the option of the boost (not too much), but it's great as an EQ either way. I don't really think of it as a LEAD boost, but rather a way to add different flavors with an alt EQ setting and a little push. Maybe I need to try some more things.

I tried mine in the loop last night but didn’t like it. But I didn’t mess with the settings because I like where I have it for a lead boost up front. I think id have to pull the mids way down and treble way up for bigger changes like what I’m getting with the ge-7.

I might take a picture of the settings and try again later, ha ha. But it’s definitely a cool pedal in front of the amp.

I noticed at band practice, with my Orange combo cranked, I didn't need the EQ as much as with lower volume. Still helped shape it nicely though and that is why I got it. Just a slight sculpting. Like I said, it is like bringing up bass and treble in a car stereo.

I just scored a wampler equator for a good price. Should be cool to compare with my old ge-7. Hopefully will be a little more subtle and natural than the ge7
