Even though I do look at TGP and post from time to time there really isn't much of interest to me over there. This place is much more in line with my musical/gear taste.

Yeah, Im pretty active on TGP...have to say I like it better without TAG, he was/is a douchebag...there are plenty of others though, Dave C (Cherneski) is a total D-bag that jumps in and argues with everyone, and is always right. Kinda jumped right in TAG's old role!

HRI is much more relaxed too, but im finding that this forum is a nice change...partially because im done with my 20 Two Rocks and journey of chasing the tone...the probelm on TGP is the sentiment that if its not boutique, its crap...most of the boutique stuff just doesnt rip like a Marshall/modded Marshall in the band mix ya know?!! Cant wait to get back my 80's tone of Kramers/Charvels/Superstrats with buckers and a head into a 4x12...feels like a breath of fresh air.


ps. TAG if you read this, you ARE a shitty ass guitar player, and TGP is much better without you. Your one contribution on the Emerald Pro is about the only thing that you were right on...i find it funny that you got called out by someone that is a medium level guitarist at best and the whole thing got you banned, what a dumbass! (damn that felt good to post...so liberating being here. i have always wanted to say that)

It's just like high school, people buy certain gear just like kids buy clothes to join cliques so they can read the exact same opinions and feel secure about themselves.

The way this thread started is like a kid leaving his high school and walking into the high school the next town over where he's an outsider, gets upset that he doesn't have the same influence and goes back to his high school to get his clique together for a school yard fight.
