I've played this amp on many occasions as it was the only high gainer in the store most of the time. The following incarnations are the ones i've played thru
Head -> Marshall VM cab
Head -> KH Cab
Combo ->V30
Combo ->emi swamp thang
and yes that is listed in order of preferance.
Clean channel was nice but i didn't spend much time there to be honest.
Gain channel was ripping, very flexable feel. I mainly used the internal boost for this amp but i did slam it a few times with my modded sd-1 and it took it like a champ.
The VM cab with it was just flat out mean.
I really don't mean to give you gas...

I just dont think you would like the feel. The Rivera I had and few that I have tried have a very different feel from a Marshall or Boogie on the high gain channels.yngzaklynch":52b2f said:
