He sure did and I highly recommend Wildwood Guitars. Their customer service and communication is great.

That is nice. I wish I could find the right LP.

Congrats

Thanks man... Of course, you've got some killer guitars surrounding you anyway!

HNGD Bob.....I knew you'd get a GT; you're too cool not to....bursts are cool and look good in a traditional sort of way, but GTs... Glad you're diggin it man!

Hahaha... Not sure I'm cool, but the goldie really caught my eye.

So I've got about 45 minutes on this guitar now and I do need to be careful because I'm on the honeymoon, but I am absolutely loving this thing. I've been digging the Viper I've got but this guitar is really winning me over. If things keep moving this way I just may need a 60's tribute with P90's too!

I hear you on this P90 thing. I had an old SG years back that had P90's. it had this Gibson version of a hotter single coil burn. Playing Steve's old 81 now for a few weeks, I'm feeling the urge to find another thin body mahogany P90 guitar.

The LP juniors on sale all over the place may work. Cheap enough.

My next want is, quite seriously here Folks, a GT reissue with P90s. I can't get the P90s outta my head. They're butt ugly man, but the tones are just so raunchy and raw

Lance at wildwood is the man, i've bought all my historics and other les pauls from him

I'm a staunch believer in these pups. Despite the light weight of the chambers LP studio reissue I own with P90's in it, I tell you that I've never played another axe that absolutely sings like this does. Despite some of her flaws, she is the. bomb.

If you want a hot P90 tone and a classy aesthetic drop these into humbucker LP. http://philxstore.com/pickups_px100.html

No doubt about it. He's a busy dude at work but still makes the time to go out of his way and make sure the customer is happy.

I have been talking about putting one of these in the neck to go with the JB in the bridge.

Pretty cool concept.

HNGTLPD Bob! She sure looks killer. Yeah, can't go wrong with a GT :).

HNGD! Glad you finally picked something out, was getting tired of all the reading   Nice choice on the GT,,something very classy about those!

Very nice! What do you think about the upper fret access? That's my only real gripe with LPs...

Thanks guys and yeah, digging the gold top!

Upper fret access is meh... but I'll get used to it.

Took me a little while to find the right height of the guitar for ease of playibility. I have a fat 50's neck on my LP which is comfortable but I was getting some wrist pain on my fret hand due to the difference in angle the guitar sat compared to my super strats. Once I found the right height I was good w/no pain or no problems accessing the upper frets. Once I got used to it and the tone I was hearing outta the thing I don't know why I waited over 30 years to join the LP club.

Very cool...looks great! Now screw the tailpiece down tight to the body and top-wrap the strings...thank me later ;)

As for P-90's...I absolutely love them. If you don't need the carved top, there are some killer deals out there right now on LP Specials and Juniors.
