Ibanez USA Custom RG

Any of you guys know what an Ibanez USA Custom rg30 is worth? It is in great shape. It is a dark purple quilt top with the stock Dimarzio's. I am thinking about parting with it. I am looking to get a new amp and cab!! I have searched and cant seem to find what they sell for. Thanks Robby

You might want to check the completed listings on eBay to see if anyone else has sold one recently. It can be a decent indication of where the market is at.

Those seem to be getting pretty rare. I use to watch those alot and have seen them go for up to $1100. But being the economy is down it might get a lilttle less. This is kind of a broad estimate but id probably say in between 800-1200.

Do you have the case? If so, i'd set it at $1200, and I bet you find a buyer. Take some really nice pics.

Hey thanks guys! I paid $700 with case and thought it was a good buy. I will try to get a pic posted. Lookin to get a Bogner Ecstasy and dont want to head straight to divorce court!!!

$700 is a great price on that IMO. I used to have one. I believe they only made them for a couple years. Have the tention free neck.... cool guitar.

Hmmmm.... A rare bird. I had a USRG 20TP (same as a 30 w/ a lower grade flame and no binding on the neck).

They made them for 3 years from 94-96. List was $1699.95 and retailed for $1199.95.

If it's in good shape you could probably get $700-$1000. Here's a pic of the 1st year cat page for them:

Depending on the wood, $700-$1000 is the market for those on average. However, super clean or NOS will bring more of course.
