I clearly remember when obZen has been released in 2008, everybody was totally shocked about the song's called "Bleed". The main riff turned out one of the most iconic riffs in modern/extreme metal. Such a fun to play!
Nice work! Catch-33 was my introduction to Meshuggah, so the new sound of Obzen was such a fun thing to bend my ear around at the time. It's incredible to think how much it's influenced over nearly 20 years.

I wouldn't try to downplay it's importance, but even then it's too hard for me to consider one "top". There's something unique to each record that keeps me from being able to rank them. There are definitely some I play more regularly than others, but I find as many "lock-in" moments of bliss across Koloss as I do with Nothing. You just earn them differently.
I was lucky enough to be at a point in my life where the place I was working had early access to this album (obZen) , and reason to be playing it over the store PA. You're not always blessed with likeable coworkers, and bonding over that album specifically was something unique to itself.
