I've been asking this question since hybrids and EV's starting coming on the markets.
At least according to sources like EPA up to 99% of the battery CAN be recycled. The reality is only about 5% IS recycled.

What are the actual numbers? Easy to hide shit with percent if the previous number was like 40 cars.
Which is the case in the US at least, where they were selling thousands of models per quarter (which was still way lower than where they needed to be) but those numbers have tanked into double digits for the past couple quarters.

That's pure oil industry propaganda. I have a 12 year old EV that is going strong with about 90% capacity.
I recommend talking to EV owners rather than getting info from oil industry shills or the local Ford dealer.
