If Friedman, Soldano, Suhr & Cameron made an amp together ..

Collabs can be cool and fun but my first thought was - too many cooks in kitchen...

I'll tell what'd happen...all them cooks-everybody would be drunk and or passed out, then one guy would be left making that turkey dinner for everyone.

I think it would be named Smelly Walrus Hero 100 and it would sound hairy and epic.

It'd be a six channel fizzy, buzzy, SLO clone with a bunch of extra switches that you could preorder and it would never be delivered. Would sound amazeballs on youtube.

John wouldn't put up with more than about 10 minutes of that meeting, with Mike bolting soon thereafter. Then Dave would lock Mark in a room with a bunch of parts and slide a sandwich under the door every so often until he emerged with a working amp. "We'll be in touch with the paperwork" as he sends him on his way.

Dave would laugh at the Smelly Hero Walrus 100, but then would decide that was too long and settle on Smerkin 100.

This image would be silk-screened on the front panel:

They would all need Metallica's Therapist before it was over ...

Plus it would have two loops: one before the tone stack and one after.

It'd probably be close to the Mezzabarba Mzero Overdrive

That Italian amp is about as Radical as it gets.

Amp Testarossa ..

It would be named the Disaster. All ripping off of each other just like they do now. Same thing only different.

Whatever it would be, the Kemper fans would claim the profile sounds better. The Fractal guys would say the amp sim sounds as good. Pete Thorn would have the only good sounding demo of it. There would 10 of them for sale after 1 month. Nobody in any local club would ever hear of it. Mesa guys would go back to Mesa, Marshall guys would go back to a JCM800. And everyone would go gaga over next years amp at NAMM.

They would throw it together and it would be the most awesome amp ever created. Vids and soundclips would be posted and we would crap ourselves listening to the tones.

Then Mark C would say "I'll handle the distribution" and it would never see the light of day.

We would all riot in front of Guitar Center while "Rage Against the Machine" played on a nearby stage.....
