If you could get any Overdrive , Fuzz , Distortion or Boost .....

I build a few that'll tear your head off ....... they just don't sell ... not in here anyway .

The mighty OD/Boost rules the school in here ... at least in my experience ...

maybe I need to do more bass stuff
Yes, more bass stuff.

The trick with bass fuzz / Distortion, in a band situation anyway, is it is god damn helpful if you can limit the effect to the high frequencies and leave your bottom end intact. That's why I used to mic my cab and run a DI.

Did you look at the Pultec EQ he has coming out in a week or so? The pedal it's cloning seems to be well liked by bass players.
My amp has a GEQ that’s always on.

Dang, I'm loving that whole rig!!! That bass has all the necessary ingredients with white finish+gold hardware. Does the cab sound better without tolex?
I'll put it to you this way. That cab is a '96 "Dark era" cab. Which means the Eminence drivers in it are a little darker sounding and therefore it's a little less desirable. The cab is also particle board. I bought it off a punk rock bass player for $400. When I started getting rid of stuff I got down to 2 Ampeg 810cl cabs, this one and a 2015 American made Heritage cab that sold at the time for around $1400. I only needed one and I kept the one that sounded best. So I don't know if it's the tolex, or lack of, it probably is that I like the speakers better, but it sounds fucking killer. Especially with that amp and that bass.

If you look real close at the grill cloth just to the right side of the headstock you will see a fist flipping the bird. Under the headstock are the words "Eat Shit". It's barely on there anymore. And the grill is being held on by 2 drywall screws. When I was still working I kept it in a road case.

mine is sexier ..... is true bypass .... has 5 different clipping options and 5 different clipping bandwidth freq options

I think when I had mine modded by RE-J they did true bypass on it, but I don't remember. it's been like 15 years since I got it. That's too many knobs and clipping stages for me to operate. I like things simple, plug and play. However, that is a nice looking pedal.

He has his normal 'Super Drive' that doesn't have all of the options, just a nicer, true bypass SD-1.

I can't sell a Fuzz in here to save my life
That scarab you were cloning sounded killer. One of the better fuzzes I've heard since I had a big box Fulltone '70. Except the scarab was a little more raw to my ears in the top end, but they are similar in that they both clean up nice with the guitar volume and can be used as a main drive for blues and rock.

I might still do a few scarabs ... and the KMA Fuzzly Bear
Have you ever looked into doing a Crowther Hotcake?
I have thought about doing one .... a few times .... I just figured there would be no interest at all in it

but I could do one .... no problem
