I have always LOVED Explorers... they are my favorite guitar style, but there's nothing worth getting aside from the KL IMO, and I cannot afford on.

I typically DO order whatever guitar and amp I'm fancying at the time... But seeing as this is a 'hypothetical' thread, I'd go with some sort of custom DAR head, or the Meathead by Fortin, and as for axes, some McNaught dealio as Stevie's got my GAS pains on this latter bit fired up as of late.
