Used USA Charvel So Cal hands down, or an EVH striped series

As much as I want Tge evh stripe series, I just can't get myself to do it.
Basically the same as a pro mod??

Pro Mod is 2 humbucker without pick guard, So Cal is 2 humbucker with pick guard, so you can change it to hum single single if you want.

EVH is basically 1 hum Pro Mod, yes.

The newest stripe series with the circles on it isn't as well known to the general public if you're concerned about the EVH connection, although any guitar player of our generation would know what it is...

Yet another vote for Charvel Pro-mod, because I also have a hankering for one.

G&L, I like the look of those Jerry Cantrell rampage sig guitars.

I had an original Rampage (Red) back in the 80s, they were WAY better then. That was the widest, flattest neck ever, except for my friend's Fender HM Strat...THAT was a plank of a neck.

I like the crop circles best of em all, if it didn't have the writing on back, I'd probably get one.
So the pro mods MIM ??

Not super strat style, but... this is what I'd do.... And, I did have a grand to spend so I ordered one months ago. Still waiting for delivery...

I'd use the grand and a credit card to get one of the Suhr's or PRS's floating around the classifieds board lol.

Is that Mark from LOG's model? It sure looks nice!

Yep, it's basically a Fender with a Jackson logo on it. MIM @ Fender, since Jackson is owned by Fender now. Actually I don't know how true that is, I think Fender let's Jackson do it's thing, but in the Fender MIM factory.

I have the MIJ model as well. Hopefully this one comes out as nice.

Congrats, I played one of the first versions that got released and was really wanting to buy it, but never did for some reason lol.

I don't much buy into the marketing hype with guitars, but this thing really does do a good metal tone, and a good blues with the coils tapped. I just like to the look, the feel and the fact that it's not a strat shape. No offence, I do own an older Fender Strat, but if I see one more strat shaped guitar, I'm going to gouge my eyes out with an awl.

The newer pro mods are MIJ ?
I thought they were now MIM?
I think 2008-9 they were US, then in 2010-11 they moved production to Japan. I have one of each and they are both great. Then they moved yet again to Mexico. I had an EVH bumblebee mim and it was a nice guitar...but I'd take a clean used Charvel, US or MiJ over it. I've only played one Charvel that was MiM and didn't care for it as much as the earlier versions. Recently a US model sold here for 850, with upgrades like BK pups, Dtuna, brass block and hardshell case. Looked mint. I think it was tangerine. I would hold out for a similar deal.
