As much as I don't care for their music, I've gotta give em credit for doing something that sounds a bit different than their usual shit and trying to keep the "Electric Guitar" in music. I'm kinda worried that guitars in music are dying. The guitar is getting more and more rare these days with the advent of technology.

Never got the Nippleback hate club thing. Not a fan, but it sounds like semi decent guitar driven music when I hear it on the radio. Seems like everything they write turns to gold. Wish I had half their money, even if it's canadian funds.

Pretty much this is the Mutt Lange influence at play again with the big Def Leppard WOOO YEEAAAHHH HEYYYYY! choruses... everything he touches has his anthem sound. At the very least the guitars sound good. Everything is so damn f_cking loud now though. Loudness wars are definitely in effect. Play this back to back with old school metal and i have to turn the volumes up on that stuff to match this. The song sucks though.. I guess after so many albums everything gets stale, this is no different.

It's ok, I don't hate them for being successful. If I ever turn on the radio, their tune would stay on because I hear guitars, unlike other pop songs. I like that they use their platform to attack the corrupt system, that's what many revered artists have done in the past. Unfortunately, it usually ends up in big $ then mysterious endings though
