Don't understand the Nickleback hate. I think they're a solid rock band. Sound great live. Actually play guitar prominently in their songs. Write catchy songs. Are one of the few rock bands that you can actually hear on the radio. I'll take this any day of the week over the neofolk shit that clear channel tries to cram down our throats.

To be honest, I think it just might be Chad's voice.. it isn't a bad voice.. in fact, he's got a pretty good voice. Problem is, he sounds like he is trying too hard to be a badass. Something about the way he sings and the type of songs they write annoys the shit out of me. I just cannot listen to a whole song. Band wise, they are tight and they right driven guitar forward songs. Nothing wrong for that and as mentioned, they are one of the few bands like this that get air play. Yet, I still cannot f_cking stand them.
