Hey thanks, Braddah... I'll look into this as I'm not keen on the tone-suck through the basic TJ's FX loop... Maybe not so much "tone suck" as "volume suck". Whatever, it'd be nice to be 100% (or as close to) transparent...

Since this creates a parallel effects loop then I'm guessing that noise reduction (i.e. Decimator, Hush, etc) won't really work to their full extent? Correct me if I'm wrong but a series loop is needed for this type of gear to work correctly?

CORRECT!!! A passive loop which needs buffering benefits from a Red Plate, Bludo, Two Rock, Fuchs, Old Vox, Flexloop or any of the many external tube buffered loops and then throw a minimix II in front of one of those external loops for best results.

So you are actually using the box just to run the serial loop parallel. this wont improve the loops function as is, its just a different type of loop all together.

there are other lower cost solution to this as well.

they have a true bypass parallel looper for about 100 bux. i have one and its pretty awesome.
