I would have traded the 1987x for it.

The Bray sounds good. But, the Rockstah is the VH brown sound champ (in the right hands).

I sold a Peacemaker with a mod5 done by Mark for $1100.00 on here. That's what I paid for it and that's what I felt it was worth. The guy I sold it too tried to sell it for much more a few months later. Regarding that auction..... I'd never buy an amp from a guy that can't type a proper sentence. What a tard.

The best one I ever heard get good toan outta a Rockstah was Mark himself [damn good].

Other than that nobody seems to capture what he had IMO.

I was just going to buy it now but the shipping is $300. I refuse to pay that much for shipping.

Well once again Cheapness has robbed you from the Ultimate tone.

Hey......have to draw the line in the sand sometimes. Agreed.

Same dude that I started a thread on a couple months ago...back then he had it "on sale" for 10k lol...when you read the ad it was brutally bad english...btw I'm the guy who bought Andy's mod 5...should be here Wed. I know it's an easy mod, but I had one done locally based on the Metro forum info. Really didn't sound like the clips of Marks mod 5..and I mean the clips of guys not named Mark A playing through them on youtube. I get that Mark was a great player..RIP...and the post production on his clips. But I think there was more tweaking with Marks actual mods than he gets credit for. Like a Cameron, he probably played it, tweaked, and kept on until it sounded right.

Yup, I agree - that's why everyone says Mark's mods sound better than other's versions of the Mod 5.

Yeah I get he's French Canuck but at least this ad is readable..the first one was borderline comedic. Not trying to be mean...but it was pretty damn funny.

I've seen inside several and all the ones I saw were right out of the Metro forum description, except one that didn't even have the filtering changes... so... while I haven't seen all of them, the few I've seen were exactly as per the Metro forum instructions or were just the simple preamp changes.

Steve

Those amps sounded great when Mark himself played them. Some guy bought one and posted clips and it sounded nothing like the VH clips that Mark had up.
