Impedance on my Ubercab

Hi all, I just got my new (well new to me, but used) Uberkab and I am dying to try it out, but I want to be 100% sure what impedance the cab is rated at so I can be sure I won't damage my amp. I checked out the specs on the Bogner home page and found the following statement:

Standard all 4x12 cabinets use 16 ohm speakers wired to a total impedance of 16 ohms. Please note before mid 2009 the Ubercab came standard at 8 ohm total impedance.

Can anyone tell me how to tell whether my Ubercab is a pre-2009 model of a post 2009 model?

Should be a serial number. Do you have a multi meter that can read ohms?

I can't find any place that lists a serial number or anything of the sort, I do have a multimeter, but I don't know how to check resistance with it. I did just crack open the back to have a look at the speakers and the V30s state that they are 8 ohm, the 75s don't seem to have any indication of their resistance. Still I can't tell parallel wiring from series so that's only kinda helpful...

Does your meter have the symbol for ohms on it? If so plug a cable in the in the input jack. Take your red test lead and place it on the tip of the other end of the jack and the black ground lead on the sleeve or side of the jack. This will tell you the ohms of the cab. Should read around 6-8 if its an 8 ohm cab and 14-16 for 16 ohm cab. If your speakers are eight the cab is proabaly eight. I think Bogner wires in series.
