Any of you guys have experience with these? Bought it sight unseen, never had my hands on a Caparison before but have always had my eye on them. This one had all the specs I like and the price seemed right. Hopefully it plays nice and the pickups are good. Dellinger 7 FX-AM

Ooops, missed your question.
Never owned one but played a few.
Nothing bad to say at all. Really nice guitars.

String through bodies also have a really cool thing going on with them.

Awesome, congrats. I love Caparison. I had the 7 string like that but in black, cool guitars!!

thanks man
You are gonna love it. Caparisons play like butter and they are built so quality. I have never played a 7 of theirs but with that string thru I bet it rings out like a piano.

Their description sounds promising:

The Caparison Dellinger7 FX-AM is a defined and focused 7 string hot rodded speed machine.

The Light Ash and Maple composite body gives you that vital tight and focused extended low end while maintaining a sweet and airy sounding top and defined midrange. Loaded with a ton of sustain its bell like qualities sing out when played clean and a rampaging beast is let loose with razor sharp precision when you unleash the full power of the Caparison designed twin humbucker pickups and crank up the gain.

The 7 string Hipshot Fixed Bridge has solid steel saddles with a crisp string relief edge, eliminating any dull tones, maximising string vibration and will stay solid no matter how hard you thrash out. The beautiful simplicity of the design perfectly complimenting the sleek and dramatic design of the guitar.

The ebony fingerboard, now with Caparison's signature Clock inlays further enhances the slick aesthetics of the Dellinger7 FX-AM and the luminous side fret marker dots are a practical and very cool addition.

I bought a Horus FX-AM awhile back on a lark, just to try out. I now own three of them, which should tell you something.

You need to charge your phone. Nice looking guitar, though.

How do you compare to something like the Skervesen?
Build quality, I'd say the same. They are both high-end guitars and the builders don't cut corners. You can't go wrong.
I've had 3 Skervesen's built (two 4AP's and 1 Raptor) and I have a build (another 4AP) underway with them now. The only real difference is Skervesen you can pick anything you want, it's a custom build while Caparison does not do custom builds any longer.

I love them both. I have the FXAM Horus and an M3 Horus. I love the love, feel, shape and 24.75 scale length of the Horus. But I've had the 7 string version and a Dellinger years ago. Great guitars.

I will say the FXAM is unique with the body wood being half Maple and the front half Ash. The stock Caparison pickups sounded really good, but I have to try shit. I tried a bunch of pickups that sounded good, but just didn't feel right to me. I ended up putting a Tom Anderson H2+ in the bridge the Caparison pickup back in the neck and BAM, instant gratification. So if you're a pickups swapper like me, I'd highly recommend giving the Caparison pickups a little time, they are really under rated.

Well damn, you guys are right about the build quality. Probably the highest quality guitar ive had in my hands. Actually love playing this so far. Used to a different neck shape but this one is a little different like a D shape I guess
Havent got to plug in yet unfortunately but so far its an excellent guitar.

Congrats man.

I guess it has stock pups.

If you need a loaner amp or just want to let it rip let me know.

Congrats man! Sweet Cap you got there.
I have a Horus 6, a Dellinger 6 and a Dellinger 7. Each guitar is of the highest quality. The two 6 stringers are my fave guitars I've ever owned. The neck profiles are really nice. Feels meaty in hand, yet plays shreddy fast.
