I couldn't hold out any longer. I might get the Randall Satan soon too. I love me some Fortin.

Mike's currently building me a KK++ plexi. Couldn't ask for a nicer guy to deal with. Much respect for him.
Nice dude. I want one of those too.

I'll be using the Grind in front of my Peters FSM. It should be pretty gnarly.

Mesa 4x12 with V30's.

I had a grind pedal. It was cool, but I could only find one area that I liked on the knob. I wish it had additional knobs to adjust the compression it added.

I mainly got it because I'm a Fortin fanboy. I'm sure there are more adjustable pedals out there, but I needed something Fortin. I want to check out the Airis Savage Drive as well.

So I plugged in my Fortin Grind yesterday and I like it a lot. It's so different than my Krankshaft overdrive. The Grind is hard to describe because it's not really an OD boost. It adds this awesome type of attack and doesn't add that much grit to the amp so going to the clean channel is with the Grind on feels like a decent clean channel. The Grind also makes riffs almost easier to play for some reason. Bottom line is that this pedal is really cool and has an attack sound that I have never heard before. Thanks Mike!

Got a Grind pedal direct from Mike a couple weeks back and haven't messed with it much yet, but I did notice it sure does shave off a lot of low end. You guys find the same thing with your pedals??

I'm thinking of grabbing one but my only issue is I can't afford any added his or noise. I hate noise gates so it needs to be REALLY quiet! Also how does it respond to guitar volume? I generally leave my koko boost on all the time but I'm guessing that prob wouldn't work with the grind as it's still adding a little gain

Does it shave off the low end and tighten it up ?

Well, ya, but the low end cut seemed a little extreme to me. I hear the grind, just wondering where the girth is? Maybe I just gotta work with it some more, I don't know. I was actually wondering if something is not right with my pedal. Thats why I asked.

I put the bass pretty high on my amp.

It doesn't seem to be any more noisy than an od pedal. It has a really unique character to it. It cuts a lot of bass though, so be ready for that. In return, you get a very musical and fun voicing to play with. I dig it.
