I just LOVE these amps, and keep going back to having one around. Absolutely one of my favorite amps ever made!

Don't think I've ever seen someone buy and sell the same amps they've already owned as much as you, and that includes me.

The JSX is truly underrated. I'm actually hunting for one right now. Wish I would have kept the last one I bought for $350 pre covid, but bought a new car in mostly cash and offed all the stuff I figured would be easy to replace to offset the spending.

I know what you mean. Sometimes when an amp doesn't do it for you at the moment, it's easy to off it and move on to the next. Then, when you hear or think about said amp, you miss it and want to re experience it all over again. It's a fun game.

I much preferred the 6L6's to the 34's or 77's in my JSX and I'm a 34 guy generally all around. To me the amp just sounded bigger, fuller and cut through better. But that was my mileage.

i had a jsx side by side with a 6505 and the jsx was more fun to play and sounded better

Speaking of JSX, just found this ad/picture on craigslist and it made my whole day, albeit I threw up in my mouth a little.

I have yet to try a JSX but a buddy of mine owns one and he likes it very much. Actually he's owned so many peavey amps, it's his second favorite, 1st being the peavey ultra plus. He told me the jsx is more compressed sounding. Here's an old video I ve found!

You can. It's actually 2 pieces screwed on with Allen head bolts.

I'm sure several can relate. Doesn't hurt my feelings, everyone gets a little nutty sometimes.
