Haha, I know that feeling. You get a new amp and you think, " This is the greatest, I'll sell the old one!" Then you play it for a few months and you're like, "Why'd I sell the old amp? Time to buy another one!" It's a vicious cycle

The JSX's are cool amps. Honestly, pretty much anything Peavey puts out is great, I don't know how they do it.

Don't think I've ever seen someone buy and sell the same amps they've already owned as much as you, and that includes me.
I've had the Peavey 5150 at least 15 times

I don't know why I keep selling them.

I need to try a JSX. Almost bought one countless times. I owned the Triple XXX II for about two years and phucking hated that amp. Tried to like it. Supposed to be very very close to the JSX so always figured I wouldn't like that either. I really want to grab a 6505+

Happy NAD.
Any tipps for the settings? Do you use the (boosted) crunch channel or the lead channel for rhythms?
A friend has one, I have to try it some time.

Speaking of JSX, just found this ad/picture on craigslist and it made my whole day, albeit I threw up in my mouth a little.

I wonder if you can remove that silver...hmm...

The silver is not what is wrong with that picture, you cannot un-see it once you see it in the reflection :bleh: :bleh: :bleh:

LOL I did not notice that hahahhaha

The JSX is such an underrated amp. Hell, I love em so much I own two lol

I have to laugh , over the last 10 years I've bought and sold the JSX 3 times
5150 3 times
dual Recto 3 times LOL!
mesa Mark IV 3 times
"don't know what cha got till it's gone" is all too true :)
I've had my JVM the longest out of any amp I've ever owned but that may be on it's way out as well at some point LOL!
out of all of them I wish I had kept my Mark IV"B", once i got my JVM I just kind of lost interest in the mesa sound

I have a JVM205H as well. I like the JSX more, but the JVM is a killer amp I've bought and sold multiple times. I just wish OD2 Orange and red had separate gain controls. Orange is quintessential Marshall, but when I get the gain at the sweet spot, red is over the top. The JSX trumps it. Crunch is beautiful, and Ultra is an awesome lead channel that is controllable.

I was always under the impression that the XXX II is just JSX with different cosmetics
